Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

By using PDFSpark (pdfspark.dev and its API at /api/v1/*) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

PDFSpark is a free REST API that converts HTML content and URLs to PDF. It is operated by the SoftVoyagers project on a best-effort basis and provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty.

2. Free for any lawful purpose

PDFSpark is free to use — personal, commercial, internal, client-facing — with no API keys, no quotas tied to an account, and no fees. You may use it in your products provided you comply with the rate limits and the restrictions below.

3. Rate limits and fair use

The API is protected by per-IP rate limits so one caller cannot starve others. Current published limits are described on the Rate Limits section of the documentation. We may adjust these limits at any time. Requests above the limit receive HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits through IP rotation or distributed clients — that is abuse.

4. Prohibited uses

You must not use PDFSpark to:

5. Content ownership

You retain all rights to the HTML, URLs, and PDFs that pass through the API. We do not claim any licence over your content. We do not persist your content — see the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and changes

There is no uptime SLA. We aim to keep the service available and healthy, but we may change endpoints, rate limits, response formats, or discontinue the service at any time. Breaking changes will be announced on the documentation page.

7. No warranty

PDFSpark is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The generated PDF is produced by a headless browser and may not render every edge case identically to your target viewer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoftVoyagers and the PDFSpark maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge, aggregate liability is capped at zero.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoftVoyagers and its maintainers from any claim arising out of your use of the service, including claims that content you submitted infringes a third party’s rights.

10. Termination

We may block access from any IP address or network that violates these terms, at our discretion and without notice. You may stop using the service at any time — there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Poland.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Contact
